Polytechnic Forum 2008 @ NYP

Was invited to cover the Poly Forum together with Justin.
This is a gathering where students from our 5 local poly gather and mix around for discussion.

Students from NYP in orange did a very good job by organizing and setting up the place, and follow by games section by NP.

Outing @ Hort Park

This is the 2nd Outing by NYP Photography Club. Its really a great day for outing.

We were at the Hort Park, great for newbies and expert for photography.

Here is a gallery around the park too. Some photos are really nice.

A macro shot by my 50mm lens with macro close up filter.

After the shoot in the park, we decided to go for the tree top walk, i assume it will only take 10 to 20min to walk but we spent 2 hours of walk to Vivo. Around 3km we travel.

Jam and Hop @ NYP

Has been covering a number of NYP event recently, and here is 1 of the more happening ones. Yes, it happened in our school hall, with live bands, disco lightings and DJ from DBL O bar. Enjoy the slide show.

Using very simple set up, you can achive these shot
Taken with 2 ikea lamps, pointing from the top.
The trick is to balance your white balance well.

Taken with a very affortable 50mm f1.8.

Low white celling make my life so easy, by just bouncing my flash stright up, you can achive very nice and even lighting
