tcc Celebrates Fantastic 5

on the 12 nov, tcc celebrates the sucess 5 years in singapore. Sure it is a good place do dine in and to have a cup of coffee.

For those who clubs, will know the famous MOS. And now, after the MOS, Zirca is up. It is very very different from the usual MOS we know, place layout is with a stage, tables and chairs, a smaller dance area.

A Simple Church Wedding

This is the 6th shoot I have done for the week. 1 of my most busy week this month.
A very simple, yet fun church wedding together with livestudios photocard printing. The ambience light is bright enough, so most of the time, I am not using a flash, or just a little fill in.

DBS Treasures @ East Coast

For those who already know, 42 east coast road DBS Treasures, you will find the place easily. I took almost 1 hour to find the place. Many guide me to a landed property, also named 42 east coast road. I miss out the coverage of the front 1/2 hour of cocktails section. This is a very very serious for all photographers. If you are picking up assignment, please make sure you know where the location are, and be there at least 15min before it start. Lucky enough for me, the rest of the event was well covered.

40 years of marriage

Here are Mr and Mrs Toft's 40th wedding anniversary. Till now, still very lovely. And also, friends at his age, most of them are also having at least 20 years of marriage.

OK, for those who know me, I having shooting events and clubbing photos for years. Some people will ask me what setting should I use when shooting in clubs, my reply, some times i go down to 1sec, and most of the time 1/5 sec.
Yes, you will not get blur shots unless there are too much light reflecting on their face. The flash already freeze the moment for you.

After watching what Chase does, it's actually the same thing after all.

I open my shutter to 2sec @F13. After opening the shutter, I trigger the flash together when Eric cut the bolloon.
